Part of the "CE on CD" Series, by Robert Demers, BS, RRT, of Demers Consulting Services, this CD describes a multidisciplinary protocol, developed by the National Asthma Education & Prevention Program (NAEPP), designed to be applied to pediatric patients who present to the ED with a flare-up of their disease.

It develops the user-friendly Protocol-Based Record that will allow you to streamline the documentation, storage-and-retrieval, and Total Quality Management (TQM) tasks that flow from implementing the NAEPP protocol with actual patients. In the process, it transforms an intimidatingly complex protocol into a user-friendly document that simplifies the activities of RCPs, ED nurses, and ED physicians alike.
An accompanying test is available for an additional charge that is accredited by the AARC for 3.0 credit hours of Category I CRCE credits. The post-test is also accredited by the California Board of Registered Nurses for 3.0 RCP credit hours and 3.6 RN credit hours. Through reciprocity, these credits are recognized throughout the US.
