Two scripted presentations are included as a progressive tutorial. Real graphics captured from actual patients are utilized to add the realism necessary to a thorough understanding of graphic application.
In the first presentation, "Introduction to Ventilator Graphics," the authors cover the basics of understanding graphics, including flow, pressure, and volume curves, and flow-volume and pressure-volume loops. In the second presentation, "Clinical Applications of Ventilator Graphics," the authors apply the basic information clinically.
